Best Accounting Schools for CMA Exam by Region

The following numbers are based on schools that had at least 8 candidates writing the exam. These statistics were updated in 2025.

Here are some of the best colleges and universities for CMA candidates.

American Universities

These are great numbers, especially considering that the global average pass rate for the CMA exam in America is only 50% for both parts one and two.

Asia Pacific

Throughout Asia Pacific the average pass rate for the CMA exam is 41% for Part 1 and 55% for Part 2.

Europe

Europe’s average pass rate for Part 1 is only 53% and for Part is a mere 63%.

Middle East and Africa

The average pass rate for the Middle East and Africa is the lowest of all the regions, with only 21% passing Part 1 and 37% for Part 2.

While these numbers may help you choose the right school, I don’t want you to be discouraged if the school you end up going to or have already studied at did not make the list. In the end, your chances of passing or failing the CMA exam are up to you and how hard you are willing to study and prepare for it.
